Yves Basle takes over at Nautitech Catamarans

Charente-based multihull manufacturer Nautitech Catamarans unveils the name of its new Managing Director, following the departure announced at the beginning of March 2024 of Gildas Le Masson. Yves Basle has been appointed by owner Bavaria Yachtbau Holding to head the French manufacturer, effective March 15, 2024.

Nautical and industrial experience

Although he left the yachting sector more than 10 years ago, Yves Basle is no stranger to the nautical industry. Director of Operations at Dufour Yachts between 2000 and 2002, he then joined the Bénéteau Group until 2009, successively managing the mobile home subsidiary's industrial operations, the pooling of nautical brands, and the general management of Wauquiez until its sale to an investment fund. He ended his nautical career with Zodiac, as Director of Operations until 2011. Since then, Yves Basle has held various management positions in the wood and printing industries.

The shareholder welcomes this industrial and multicultural profile, particularly in business and performance management, as Supervisory Board Chairman Kai Brandes explains: "Under his leadership, Nautitech Catamarans will continue its development and consolidate its position as a key player in luxury catamarans made in France. We thank him for his contribution and wish him all the best in his new position."
