Here are this week?s appointments, departures, and job changes... There have been some changes at the Institut Nautique de Bretagne, Soromap, Eole Racing, Groupe Beneteau, Couach, Honda Marine, FFvoile, and Oyster Yachts.

Violette Lemercier Joins the INB

The Brittany Nautical Institute welcomes Violette Lemercier, who has a dual mission focused on training and building relationships with companies in the industry.

She helps coordinate the technical-sales training program for the nautical industry and services alongside Briag Merlet, who is taking over from Denis Aventurier. In particular, she oversees work-study students, their assignments at companies, and their projects related to business development. She also teaches courses in economics and management.

Another part of its mission involves developing training programs for businesses and learners.

Before joining the INB, Violette Lemercier gained experience in various aspects of water sports. She competed in the 49er FX class leading up to the Rio Olympics, before working at Decathlon, where she focused on the development of Tribord water sports products. She then joined Tip & Shaft in the events industry.

At Soromap, Odeline Anoraud succeeds Éric Delbrel

There is also a leadership transition at Soromap Group. After several years serving the company's clients, Éric Delbrel is retiring.

His division is being taken over by Odeline Anoraud, who is becoming a technical sales representative for Varnishes & Industry. This is an internal transfer for her: she had previously worked for several years in Soromap?s sales administration department.

Gautier Chamboulle Joins Eole Racing

After spending more than two years at Grand Large Yachting in Lorient, Gautier Chamboulle has joined Eole Racing as a design engineer.

At Grand Large Yachting, he worked on ORC and Outremer catamarans. In particular, he helped oversee the relocation of Outremer 45 production from La Grande-Motte to Lorient, as well as the industrialization of the Outremer 48. He joined Eole Racing in July and is now involved in the design, construction, and optimization of Benjamin Dutreux?s future IMOCA.

Vincent Fauvel Joins the Beneteau Group's Events Division

Vincent Fauvel has joined the Beneteau Group's events team, working alongside Nina Blazquez.

He previously worked at La Maison Hebel - Traiteur de France. This career change has led him into the marine industry, where he now works for a group whose various brands participate in numerous trade shows and industry events both in France and internationally.

Raphaël Lutard joins Couach in the customer service and test drive departments

Raphaël Lutard has joined Chantier Naval Couach as an after-sales service technician and test pilot. Based in Gironde, his responsibilities include overseeing the proper execution of service contracts, whether for maintenance or warranty work.

He previously worked as a sail rigger at VB Voiles. His career also includes more than 10 years at Neo Sailing Technologies, where he held positions related to customer service, rigging, and technical support.

Between 2019 and 2023, Raphaël Lutard also served as boat captain of the Ocean Fifty Arkema 4, where he was responsible for the management and technical preparation of the racing trimaran. This experience involved overseeing construction, maintenance, and the specific challenges of offshore racing.

Brian Doreau has been appointed Southern Sales Manager at Honda Marine

Brian Doreau has been appointed sales manager for the Southern region at Honda Marine.

His recent career path is notably linked to Garmin France, where he has served as a sales representative in southern France since 2019, focusing on network development and account management.

Claire Pruvot Becomes National Technical Advisor to the FFVoile

In September 2026, Claire Pruvot will assume the position of national technical advisor with the French Sailing Federation.

She had been working at the FFVoile since January 2022 as a project manager for Sports Activities?Habitable Division. Her career with the federation will therefore continue in this new role.

The appointment is part of a career path that combines experience in competition with roles at the national level; Claire Pruvot also competed in offshore racing before working on sailing practices in the cruising segment.

Adam Wheeler Joins Oyster Yachts as Technical Director

After spending twenty years at Sunseeker, Adam Wheeler has joined Oyster Yachts as Chief Technical Officer.

This change marks the transition from a British motor yacht specialist to a shipyard dedicated to large cruising sailboats. In his new role, Adam Wheeler assumes technical responsibility at Oyster Yachts.
