Brunswick Launches Electric Boat Brand

On the occasion of the CES, Consumer Electronics Show, in parallel with the launch of the first Avator 7.5e electric motor the Brunswick Group has introduced a new brand of boats dedicated to these engines. Veer Boats, whose first model is a 13-foot boat, will offer boats made of rotomolded plastic. The first market targeted is the United States. Marketing in France is not planned for the moment.

A unique shipyard for Baltic Yachts

The Finnish specialist in very high-end boats, Baltic Yachts, has launched construction work on new buildings at its Jakobstad site. With a surface area of 7,702 m2 on three levels, it will enable the company to group all its activities around a single location and repatriate those of the historical site in Bosund, 25 km away. The new facilities are designed to improve the company's environmental performance, with solar panels and optimal insulation.

Bankruptcy of the Moth Ikual shipyard

The company Ikual, founded in La Rochelle in 2019 by Fernando Lodos Valdivielso, to launch a range of foil Moths, has been placed in simplified judicial liquidation at the end of December 2022.

MarineMax finalizes acquisition of Boatzon
