MODX Catamarans joins forces with FERT Yachting

The first MODX 70, a telescopic-wing catamaran being built by Ocean Developpement, will be offered for charter exclusively by FERT Yachting. The Lorient-based builder and the Swiss specialist in top-of-the-range, made-to-measure travel have signed an agreement for the marketing of this advertised zero-emission sailing yacht.

Webasto refocuses its business

Webasto, a marine and automotive equipment supplier, has announced its intention to refocus on its core business. It will be leaving the electric vehicle recharging infrastructure market in which it had invested.

Brunswick joins forces to develop on-board AI

The Brunswick Group has formalized a collaboration agreement with Apex.AI. The company, which provides certified software solutions, should enable progress towards autonomous technologies on boats, in line with the ACES strategy of the American yachting leader, in coherence with the sensors of the group's brands.

The Sun Fast 30 OD supports the offshore racing championship

The Jeanneau Multiplast alliance has won the contract for the Mixed Double-handed Offshore Racing World Championship. The event will now be raced on the new Sun Fast 30 OD, with the first edition on the support from September 25 to 28, 2024.

4 start-ups at Technoport Bordeaux

Four young companies committed to decarbonization have joined the Technoport program of the Grand Port de Bordeaux to receive support. Among them, two have applications in the yachting and boating services ecosystem: Econautik, which develops hydrogen retrofit kits for boats, and Armen Initiative and its recyclable high-density polyethylene boats.
