Bénéteau Group doubles its results in the first half of 2023

The Bénéteau Group has presented its half-year results for early 2023, showing very strong growth compared to 2022. The company is confident about the state of the marine industry.

Strong growth in results

The Bénéteau Group has published its interim figures for the first half of 2023. Over and above changes in accounting methods following the ongoing sale of the Habitat business, the figures for the Boat business show a healthy increase. Boat Division sales came to 812.9 million euros, up 48.3% on 2022. Recurring operating income came to 131.2 million euros, or 16.1% of sales, an increase of 5.4 points. Net income (Group share) came to 117.1 million euros, up 4.8 points to 14.4% of sales.

The Group is delighted with this growth, which it considers to be the combination of sales growth of over 40% and the harvesting of work on the Group's operational performance over the last few years. The 2022 figures were also penalized by deferred invoicing of 80 million euros between the first and second quarters due to supply difficulties.

Outlook unchanged

The Bénéteau Group confirms its confidence in the market at the end of the autumn trade shows... It forecasts sales of 1,450 million euros in 2023, up +16%, and raises its operating margin forecast by 0.5 points to +12%.
