Marine West is continuing its geographic expansion through Destination Yacht. Fountaine Pajot has entrusted this company with the distribution of its catamarans in the Seychelles, Mauritius, and Réunion. The Breton company, which has 45 employees spread across four locations in southern Brittany, already represents several recreational boat brands, including Jeanneau, Fountaine Pajot, Prestige, and Highfield. This move, however, marks a new phase, with the company establishing a commercial presence outside its traditional market.

Destination Yacht Drives International Expansion

Marine West has chosen to partner with Destination Yacht to drive this expansion. In addition to selling Fountaine Pajot catamarans, the company plans to offer charter management solutions in the Seychelles and Mauritius. The concept involves allowing owners to rent out their boats during periods when they are not using them. This business thus combines the distribution of new boats with rental operations in two tourist markets in the Indian Ocean.

Marine West Entrusts Sales Management to Florian Savinel

For co-CEOs Yann Fercot and Jean-Baptiste Plassart, this expansion should enable Marine West to continue its growth beyond Brittany. The company has entrusted Florian Savinel, a specialist in the Fountaine Pajot brand at Marine West, with overseeing sales for Fountaine Pajot?s operations in the Indian Ocean.
