Fountaine Pajot continues to expand its distribution network in Asia. The manufacturer has entrusted Singapore and Thailand to Asia Yachting, its partner in Hong Kong and the Philippines. This broader regional scope comes at a time when its product line is shifting toward larger vessels.
Singapore and Thailand Join the Network
Fountaine Pajot is expanding the sales territory entrusted to Asia Yachting by adding Singapore and Thailand to Hong Kong and the Philippines. The agreement was formalized at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival.
This clarification resolves an ambiguity in the shipyard?s press release, which might imply that the Philippines are also among the new territories. Several corroborating sources indicate that Asia Yachting was already representing Fountaine Pajot there. The expansion announced in September therefore covers two new markets: Singapore and Thailand.
The partnership between the two companies developed gradually. Asia Yachting first began representing Fountaine Pajot motor catamarans in Hong Kong in 2021, before adding the sailing models to its lineup in 2023.
One distributor for four Asian markets
With this new agreement, Asia Yachting now covers a territory stretching from Hong Kong to the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. For Fountaine Pajot, the benefits extend beyond simply selling boats. Distributing liveaboard catamarans also requires the ability to handle delivery, handover, and after-sales support across multiple sailing regions.
However, the publicly available information does not specify either the sales targets associated with this expansion or the additional human and technical resources deployed by Asia Yachting in the two new countries.
This issue is all the more significant given that Fountaine Pajot conducts the majority of its business outside of France. In the first half of fiscal year 2025?2026, the group reported that exports accounted for 88% of its revenue.
