Osculati and EGIS, a new offer for energy on board ships

Osculati announces a partnership with EGIS Mobile Electric. The distributor integrates electrical management and protection solutions on board. The partnership targets both new boats and refit projects.

Osculati is adding EGIS Mobile Electric systems to its catalog, with solutions dedicated to on-board energy management, on both new and refurbished units.

Exclusive distribution of EGIS systems in Italy

Osculati becomes official distributor of EGIS Mobile Electric solutions. The Italian group, which specializes in nautical equipment, has thus extended its offering in the field of on-board electrical systems. This integration covers on-board energy management and protection solutions.

It is aimed at construction sites, installers and designers involved in the design or modernization of electrical installations.

Modular electrical architectures for boats

EGIS develops systems based on modular architecture. The aim is to structure on-board electrical distribution, with configurations that can be adapted according to the ship's needs. This approach facilitates the integration of multiple equipment, in a context where electrical loads are increasing: auxiliary propulsion, on-board electronics, on-board comfort.

Installation and refit: technical constraints to manage

Electrical installations on board evolve with usage. On recent boats, the multiplication of equipment requires precise management of energy distribution. On refits, the constraints are different: new systems have to be integrated into an existing architecture. Modular solutions make it possible to adapt the installation without having to overhaul the entire network, which simplifies on-board interventions.

An extensive catalog to cover all on-board needs

Osculati draws on an already extensive range. The distributor offers over 22,000 items, with a claimed availability rate of over 97%. Its logistics organization is based on a centralized warehouse, described as one of the largest in Europe for nautical accessories. The addition of EGIS systems completes this offer, with a focus on on-board electrical and electronic installations.
