Phocéa Yachting takes the Nautitech card

The Phocéa Yachting dealer, based in Marseille, has announced that it has taken over the distribution of Nautitech catamarans in the Bouches du Rhône area, from La Ciotat to Saintes Maries de la Mer. The company is also the exclusive dealer for the Bavaria sailboat and motorboat ranges.

Call for challenge of the Ocean Hackathon

The 7th edition of the Ocean Hackathon will take place from December 2 to 4, 2022 . As every year, it allows to think in groups with people of various skills on the development of prototypes, from digital data related to the sea and think about their uses. Individuals and companies wishing to submit euro challenge projects must do so before June 15, 2022 on the World Sea Campus website.

Canada adapts its luxury tax and its nautical application

The planning of the luxury tax in Canada, which affects pleasure craft has been revised. All sales made before December 31, 2021, regardless of the date of delivery of the boat, will be exempt. In addition, the threshold for the taxation of boats has been increased from $100,000 to $250,000.

Port exchanges Manche Seine-Maritime

A delegation of about twenty nautical actors and elected officials from Seine-Maritime visited the port of Barneville-Carteret on Thursday, April 28. They exchanged views with the elected officials and administrators of the SPL des Ports de la Manche on the different themes of yachting (governance, services, organization, pricing, etc.) as part of a process of sharing knowledge at the level of the Normandy Region.
