2021 edition of the Grand Pavois de La Rochelle

Grand Pavois Organisation, the association in charge of the La Rochelle boat show, continues to prepare the 2021 edition. It has confirmed the dates of the Grand Pavois 2021 between September 28 and October 3. As envisaged for the cancelled edition of 2020, it is anticipated to remove the large exhibition halls in favor of villages and thematic areas in the open air to adapt to health risks.

1st motor boat for Nautor's Swan

The famous Finnish high-end sailboat builder Nautor's Swan has presented its first powerboat model. The Swan Shadow, a 43-foot chase boat, features the famous blue and white color code of the brand. After X-Yacht, Solaris or Grand Soleil, the Scandinavian shipyard follows the movement of sailboat manufacturers towards motorboating.

Kits to promote the dismantling of pleasure boats

APER, the organization in charge of the yacht dismantling sector, wants to deploy its communication campaign to owners throughout the territory. It offers free kits to coastal actors (yachting professionals, ports and marinas, local authorities...) containing 1 counter display, 3 A3 posters and 60 leaflets, to raise awareness among yachting customers and users.

Disappearance of Rue de la Mer

Bought by Cabesto in 2017, the nautical equipment sales site Rue de la Mer had lasted until 2020. It will close definitively on January 31, 2021, the entire offer is now transferred to the Cabesto site.

MZ Electronic takes over Progetto Elica

Italian deck equipment and windlass manufacturer MZ Electronic has made official the acquisition of propeller producer Progetto Elica. A subsidiary of the SBM Group, the company specializes in standard and custom-made propellers for boats up to 150 feet.
