Launching a new trade show in the nautical industry is always a gamble. Seaquip, held in Milan from March 3 to March 5, 2026, aimed to bring together Italian companies specializing in equipment and components for yachts and boats.
A B2B show dedicated to marine equipment manufacturers and suppliers
Seaquip is positioned as a trade show focused on the marine supply chain. The event brings together component manufacturers, equipment suppliers, engineering firms and shipyard representatives.
The show is held at Fiera Milano Rho, a well-known exhibition center for international industrial events. The aim is to create a meeting place for technical suppliers and shipbuilders. According to organizer Easyfairs, over 3,000 professionals took part in this first edition.
An event designed for the marine industry
Unlike consumer boat shows, Seaquip is aimed exclusively at professionals. Visitors include naval architects, engineers and captains, as well as design and R&D teams working for shipyards.
Several major Italian and international shipyards were represented. For some visitors, the main interest lay in the opportunity to meet suppliers who don't take part in traditional boat shows. This logic explains the highly technical positioning of the show, focused on equipment, onboard systems and industrial solutions.
A first edition
The organizers report that over half of the exhibitors present in 2026 have already confirmed their participation in the next edition. Some industry players who were not present this year have also announced their intention to join the show in 2027. This movement is an important indicator for an event in its first year.
Exhibitors point to the layout of the show and its location in Northern Italy, a region with a high concentration of boatbuilding players.
The next edition of Seaquip will be held from March 3 to March 5, 2027.
