Common Open Doors of Breton Boating

Organised with the help of the Brittany Region and its various entities supporting the economy, tourism and water sports, the Welcome Deiz will be held from 17 to 22 December 2020. This open-door operation is being conducted jointly by a series of Breton shipyards. It includes AstusBoats, Bagou Boats, Erplast, Grand Largue, IDB Marine, La Pabouk Compagnie, Marée Haute, Marine Composite, Marsaudon Composites, Plasmor and Tricat.

Nanni exports to Australia

The Aquitaine-based engine manufacturer Nanni has announced the signing of an original equipment agreement with the Australian shipyard Integrity Boats. The N6.285CR2 marine engine with 284 horsepower will equip the manufacturer's new model, a displacement boat christened Classic 440 Sedan.

Samboat joins forces with Capt'n Boat

After GlobeSailor and Kiriacoulis, the advertising platform for professional sailors Capt'n Boat has announced the signing of an agreement with the boat rental site Samboat. Yachting customers will be able to choose their skipper from the Capt'nBoat offer. Skippered charters represent 24% of Samboat's turnover.

UPACA and the Caisse d'Epargne continue their partnership

Nautibanque, the Caisse d'Epargne Côte d'Azur's nautical sector, founded in 2019, is renewing its partnership with UPACA, the Union of Marinas of Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur and Monaco.

Volvo Penta confirms its commitment to the development of the electric motor

After announcing the vision and plans for Volvo Penta's yachting business at the end of October 2020, Heléne Mellquist, managing director, unveiled the strategy for its products and services dedicated to the professional marine sector on Tuesday 24th November. In synergy, the sector will work on electric and hybrid propulsion systems, with a short-term focus on limiting emissions by complying with IMO 3 and Tier 3 standards as of today.
