Thierry Verneuil hands over the helm to Philippe Fourrier

Appointments, departures, job changes... There's been movement at Samboat, Oceanvolt, ENVSN, Mercator Marine Group, Plastimo and ScanNav.

ENVSN changes presidency

The French Minister of Sport has appointed Philippe Fourrier as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ecole Nationale de Voile et des Sports Nautiques (ENVSN), succeeding Thierry Verneuil. Philippe Fourrier, who heads the Ilago communications agency, was previously General Delegate of the French Nautical Industries Federation, having worked on the creation of APER and the European Boating Industry.

Departure of Samboat co-founder

In a press release celebrating its 10th anniversary, boat rental and nautical IT specialist Samboat announced the departure of one of its co-founders, Laurent Calando. Nicolas Cargou, the original second partner, remains at the helm of Samboat, within the Dream Yacht Worldwide group.

A new general manager at Oceanvolt

The electric motor specialist for pleasure boats and small work units, Oceanvolt, acquired a new managing director at the beginning of March 2024. Mikael Heikfolk. Before taking up this position, he was successively Managing Director of Axopar and Head of Business Development for the Nimbus Group.

Change at the head of Mercator Marine Group

The Mercator Marine Group, which includes yachting equipment specialists Allpa Marine Equipment, Combi Noord, Technautic and Allpa G.m.b.H, has announced the arrival of a new Managing Director. He is Jarno Berkhof, previously head of Lankhorst Taselaar, a major nautical distributor in the Benelux and Germany for 10 years.

New digital communications manager at Plastimo

Change in Plastimo's digital communications manager. Steffi Froehlicher is leaving the Lorient-based equipment company, to be replaced by Alix Talavera.

Reinforcement at ScanNav

Gironde-based ScanNav, a specialist in navigation software solutions, reinforces its workforce. Patrick Bagur has joined the company as Business Development Manager.
