Plastimo has announced that it will take over distribution of the Dometic Marine refrigeration range in France from January 1, 2026. The agreement covers all on-board refrigeration equipment, including refrigerators, chillers and accessories, previously distributed via another channel.
A structuring evolution for professional networks
For Plastimo, this partnership is part of a strategy to consolidate its offering for yachting professionals. The Lorient-based distributor is integrating a recognized range of on-board comfort products, widely used in both pleasure boating and professional applications.
Dometic Marine remains positioned on the same technical solutions. The products, their specifications and uses remain unchanged by this change in distribution.
Centralized logistics and simplified sales
In concrete terms, distribution via Plastimo aims to improve product availability through centralized logistics management. For resellers, construction sites and integrators, the aim is to reduce lead times and streamline supply.
From a commercial point of view, this new scheme means we can rely on a single contact for orders, follow-up and support, in line with the other ranges already distributed by Plastimo.
Local technical support
Plastimo also emphasizes the role of its sales and technical teams in supporting customers through this transition. Field support is based on the distributor's in-house expertise, linked to Dometic Marine's know-how in on-board refrigeration systems.
Since January 1, 2026, all orders for Dometic Marine refrigeration have to be placed directly with Plastimo.
