Successful fundraising for Zen Yachts

Zen Yachts, which develops solar-electric catamarans, also equipped with rigid sails, has concluded a Series A financing of 5.5 million euros. This was fully underwritten by the Ocean Zero LLC fund, also an investor in Candela, Ayro and the electric motorist Flux Marine, as well as Batene batteries.

Quick Spa continues to grow

The Italian equipment manufacturer Quick Spa has unveiled its 2022 figures. They show a turnover of 62 million euros. Growth in windlasses was 41% and more than 20% in electronics, thrusters and lighting. Gyroscopic stabilizers will reach 11 million euros in sales in 2022.

End of the JMV Industries construction site

The JMV Industries shipyard has definitively ceased its activity. Known in the field of ocean racing for having built famous sailboats such as the Geodis, winner of the Vendée Globe with Christophe Auguin in 1994, but also Mari-Cha IV, the subsidiary of the CMN shipyards was dormant since 2012. Its parent company finally dissolved the company on February 7, 2023.
