A new site headquarters for Ferretti

The Ferretti Group opens a new superyacht yard in Ancona. The Italian leader has inaugurated 4,200 m2 of refurbished buildings, including 3,000 m2 dedicated to technical and logistics teams. The yard is capable of building 24 superyachts for the CRN, Riva and Pershing brands.

Caterpillar works on its battery and shore power offers

Caterpillar, the engine manufacturer, says it is banking on its range of new products to reduce dependence on generators for on-board energy supply, and thus cut greenhouse gas emissions. It is developing its range of certified batteries, as well as dockside recharging systems.

Creation of SPL Granville Terre et Mer

The local public company (SPL) Granville Terre et mer nautisme officially came into being on December 8, 2023. It brings together 23 public partners, including the Granville terre et mer community of municipalities and the département de la Manche. Its mission is to develop the nautical offer and operate the 5 bases along the Granvillais coastline. The future Jullouville nautical base, winner of the "exemplary nautical bases" call for projects, will be the 1st major project to be carried out.
