Appointments, departures, job changes...There has been movement in the Bénéteau group, at the Yacht Club Classique, at Boero and Brunswick.

New leadership for Bénéteau's US brands

Continuing its reorganization, the Bénéteau Group has announced the appointment of new directors for the 4 American brands of the French yachting leader. Nick Harvey joined the Group in 2003 and has held various positions, including President of Jeanneau America. He has been appointed Director of the Four Winns and Wellcraft brands. Andy Lindsay, Commercial Director of the 4 American brands Four Winns, Glastron, Wellcraft and Scarab since 2016, becomes Director of the Glastron and Scarab brands. It should be noted that the Bénéteau Group has announced its intention to separate from Glastron and Scarab as part of its 2020-2025 strategic plan.

The Yacht Club Classique changes president

The Classic Yacht Club Association has a new president. Antoine Simon, general secretary since 2019 and owner of the Cornu Dauphin Vert plan, has been elected for a renewable 2-year term. He succeeds Pierre Loïc Chantereau.

Boero gets a new salesman

Benoît Hallebout joins the paint supplier Boero Colori France as a sales representative. Employed in various French dealerships, he has previously worked for the Jeanneau, Bénéteau, Dufour, Yamaha, Accastillage Diffusion and Uship brands.

Brunswick Appoints Director of Electrification

As part of its ACES strategy, for Autonomy, Connectivity, Electrification & Shared Access, the American group Brunswick has announced the appointment of John Oenick as Director of Electrification for the American leader in yachting. He previously worked for the engine manufacturer John Deere on the development of hybrid diesel electric engines and for the Bombardier group in the design of the propulsion of the Sea-Doo and waterjet boat ranges.
