Appointments, departures, job changes... There's been movement at ICOM, Les Glénans, Scarab, ePropulsion, FinX, Yamaha and Martinez.

New sales manager at ICOM

Cédric Brouillet has taken over as Sales Director of ICOM France. A sales engineer with electroacoustic equipment and hardware companies, he joined the company in December 2023.

Interim management at Les Glénans

After a turbulent period following the departure of its president, replaced by Marc Olivaux in October 2023, who had been active in the association for 20 years, the Glénans sailing school has parted company with its general delegate Tom Daune. The president will continue to manage the school until a new person is recruited.

New director for Scarab

The American powerboat brand Scarab, owned by the Bénéteau Group, has a new manager. Don Smith, previously president of Bénéteau America. Having joined Bénéteau in 2018, he has worked for various American brands and dealers such as Chris-Craft and MarineMax.

Erwan Grandpierre joins ePropulsion

After a brief 5-month stint with FinX, the manufacturer of electric diaphragm motors, Erwan Grandpierre joins Asian electric motor brand ePropulsion. Previously, he had been responsible for Torqeedo sales in France for 13 years.

Yamaha appoints new European Director

Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. (YME) has changed management as of January 1, 2024. Eric de Seynes will hand over his duties as Chairman and CEO to Olivier Prévost, previously Vice-Chairman of YME. Prévost will manage the European branches and subsidiaries, while Eric de Seynes has joined the company's Supervisory Board as Chairman.

Thierry Martinez retires from boat photography

Following his departure from the Arkea Ultim Challenge, photographer Thierry Martinez has announced that he is stepping back from race photography to devote himself to other projects.
