Brieuc Maisonneuve joins Neel Trimarans

The multihull manufacturer Neel Trimarans from La Rochelle has a new Group Sales Director since February 6, 2023. Unfortunate skipper of the Route du Rhum 2022 on which he lost his ORC catamaran on which he was also working as a charterer under the brand Addictive Sailing, Brieuc Maisonneuve manages the sales team of the cruising trimarans from La Rochelle.

New president at Mercury Marine

Following Chris Drees' departure from the company and the marine industry, Brunswick Group has announced his successor as head of Mercury Marine engines. He is John Buelow, previously Mercury's vice president of global operations. He also becomes executive vice president of the group. He joined Mercury in 2004 and has held various financial and operational positions.

Oyster Yachts appoints General Manager

Sailboat brand Oyster Yachts now has a full-fledged managing director. Ashley Highfield, who had been acting in the role since September 2022 following a reorganization, has been permanently confirmed in the position. He leaves his chair as chairman of the board of Oyster Yachts, which now falls to Richard Hadida, owner of the shipyard and former managing director.

Wichard strengthens its American team

Wichard USA has announced the arrival of a new sales manager for North America. The American subsidiary of the French equipment manufacturer, brings on board Kurt Bodnar, a seasoned professional, after 23 years of experience with Defender Industries in sailing.

APPA elects a new president

The Association of Atlantic Marinas has elected its new president. After 12 years at its head, Bertrand Moquay, director of the La Rochelle marina, has given up his position to Germain Stoldick, director of the Arcachon marina, for a 3-year mandate.
