Pabouk Compagnie, the officially opened construction site

In October 2018, we announced the future rebirth of the entire range of Pabouk sailing yachts designed by Antoine Carmichael. This has now been done. The Pabouk Compagnie shipyard took over its Gouesnac'h premises and dismantled the hull of its first Pabouk 260 at the beginning of March.

Start-up winners of the JEC StartUp Booster

On the occasion of the JEC World international exhibition, a panel of professionals from the composite industry, including representatives of the Bénéteau Group, rewarded 3 start-ups in the sector. These are Airgo Design, a Singaporean company developing fully composite aircraft seats, Arevo, an American company working on 3D printing and production methods, and Woodoo, a French company that offers "augmented wood", a wood-based material integrating augmented reality functionalities for vehicle cockpits. The public awarded the French Lavoisier Composites for Carbonium, a material made from composite waste from the aeronautics industry.

Click&Boat opens in Marseille

The internet boat rental company Click&Boat opens a branch in Marseille. Based in the suburbs of Paris, the company wants to get closer to rental locations and accelerate its Mediterranean development. It will recruit about fifty people for this new site.

An offshore racing championship in Malta

In the wake of the integration of ocean racing into the Olympic Games, World Sailing announced the creation of a world championship for the sport. The finest offshore sailing crews will meet for the 1st edition in Malta in 2020, in parallel with the famous Middle Sea Race offshore race.

Quadrofoil raises ?3 million

The Slovenian start-up Quadrofoil announced that it had successfully raised ?3 million. The company is developing a small two-seater electric flying boat, supported by 4 foils, for leisure and mobility.

New agent for Wauquiez in the Netherlands

The Wauquiez shipyard is acquiring a new agent. Bach Yachting will represent the sailboat brand in the Netherlands.
