Sunsail and The Moorings announce 160 new boats in 2024 fleet

Travelopia's yacht division, with its Sunsail, The Moorings and Leopard Catamarans brands, has drawn up a flattering balance sheet for 2023 and announced record investments for 2024.

Record results in 2023

Under the umbrella of its yacht division, Travelopia brings together charter and charter-management activities under the Sunsail and The Moorings brands, as well as multihull sales under the Leopard Catamarans banner. Travelopia posted record results for the 2023 financial year, which ended on September 30. Cumulative sales reached ?315 million, driven by both rental management and distribution of Leopard catamarans. Revenues from boat sales grew by 60% between 2021 and 2023.

A fleet increase in 2024

To maintain this pace of growth and continue to offer customers the latest generation of boats, Sunsail and The Moorings are continuing to renew their fleet, which will number 750 boats by 2024. To this end, the two entities are expected to take delivery of 160 boats over the calendar year.

110 catamarans are scheduled to leave the workshops of Robertson & Caine's South African catamaran shipyard, the exclusive partner of the two charter brands. The remainder of the fleet consists of the 50 monohull yachts inaugurating the exclusive partnership signed with Dufour at Cannes 2023 . Together, these acquisitions represent an investment of over 100 million US dollars, according to Travelopia.
