With Mayba, the Arsenal shipyard has commissioned a 65-foot unit dedicated to passenger transport, configured for intensive operation on the Côte d'Azur.
200-passenger capacity on two levels

The catamaran is designed to accommodate a large volume of passengers. Total capacity reaches 200, with 114 passengers on the main deck and 86 on the flybridge. This layout allows spaces to be segmented according to use, whether for circulation, observation or reception. Available floor space totals 238 m², divided between the two levels.

The layout is designed for smooth operation both at sea and alongside the quayside. The separation between the main deck and flybridge facilitates on-board flow management. This configuration also makes it possible to adapt the reception area according to the phase of operation: embarkation, navigation or stopover.
A schooner rig for mixed operations
Mayba adopts an unusual rig for this type of unit. The catamaran is fitted with an equal-mast schooner rig, with two main sails totalling 102 m² and a 40 m² solent, giving a sail area of 154 m².

This configuration provides additional velelic propulsion, while retaining an organization compatible with professional operation. The boat is equipped with two 228 hp engines, supplied by Nanni. This motorization guarantees regular rotations and port maneuvers, with a fuel capacity of 2 x 1000 liters.

A unit from the DAY 1 Catamarans shipyard
Mayba is part of the DAY 1 range dedicated to passenger transport. Designed for excursion activities, this type of unit is aimed at intensive operations with a high passenger capacity. The boat has been operated in Nice by AMC Cape Grace since its commissioning in May 2025. This positioning is in line with the development of maritime passenger transport solutions, with units adapted to local lines and tourist activities.
