Phil Popham leaves Sunseeker management

Appointments, departures, job changes... There was movement at Bénéteau, Fountaine-Pajot, Sunseeker and the Union des Villes Portuaires d'Occitanie.

New Outboard Sales Director at Bénéteau America

Bénéteau Shipyard has announced the appointment of a new Outboard Sales Director for its American subsidiary Bénéteau America. David Aldrich, with his experience with competitor Brunswick for brands like Chris Craft, will be an asset for the development of the Vendée shipyard's distribution network, 60% of whose production is equipped with outboard propulsion. His last position with the Freedom Boat Club will also benefit the development of the Bénéteau Boat Club.

Arrival of an industrial manager at Fountaine-Pajot

The Fountaine-Pajot group, whose production capacity has increased significantly in recent years, is acquiring an industrial manager. Johan Le Saux, with factory management experience in the plastics industry, is in charge of this position, newly created at the specialist in pleasure catamarans in La Rochelle.

Sunseeker CEO leaves

Phil Popham, CEO of Sunseeker Motor Boatyard, announced his departure at the end of September 2018. Arrived in 2015, it took part in the recovery of the site, became profitable again in 2016 and now has a substantial order book. Mike McMillan and Michael Straughan, members of management, will act as interim CEO pending the appointment of a new CEO.

New UVPO General Delegate

The Union des Villes Portuaires d'Occitanie (UVPO) announced on 2 July 2018 the appointment of Anne-Sophie Cassan as General Delegate. In charge for 15 years of the Tourism pole of the CCI of Aude, she replaces Elodie Planas.
