New management, new ambitions for 2JTech

Based in Arzal (Morbihan) and founded in 2010 by Guillaume Joly, 2JTech has established itself as a reference in the design and manufacture of boat handling equipment: bers, trailers, trestles, vertical racks. In 2020, it joined the Silvadec group. Today, a new chapter opens with the arrival of Gautier Lefèvre at the helm.

Renewed governance... and lofty ambitions

Gautierâeuros¯Lefèvre, an Arts et Métiers engineer who has worked in a variety of sectors (plastics, electronics, household appliances), takes over 100âeuros¯% of the company. His projectâeuros¯: to structure the design office, support large-scale projects and launch a growth phase, while strengthening the company's local roots. He declaresâeuros¯:

"We are building on the solid foundations laid by Guillaumeâeuros¯Joly and his teams to take the next step. Our ambition is to make 2JTech a benchmark player in custom boat chocking..."

A prestigious clientele to reinforce legitimacy

2JTech doesn't start from scratch: recent projects include the bowsers for the AC75 and AC40 for the ÂOrientationâeuros¯Express stable, the cradle for a 33âeuros¯m luxury yacht for the Wally shipyard, and hull and deck counter moulds for the Dufour shipyard. This strong expertise enables the company to approach the exceptional yachting market with legitimacy.

Local roots remain key

The company operates a network of suppliers and subcontractors, mainly from the Morbihan region, a guarantee of proximity and agility. True to its Breton DNA, the company intends to recruit in the medium term and further structure its workshop to meet the growth of its nautical and industrial activities.

Moving upmarket and increasing visibility

Under the new governance, 2JTech intends to strengthen its internal resources (design office, processes, tooling) to accelerate its development. The objective is clear: to grow from a local SME to a national or even international player in marine mooring and handling. In a fast-changing sector, where port logistics and winter storage are becoming increasingly sophisticated, this increase in capacity is a strategic move.

2JTech changes course without losing its home base¯ Brittany. With a new pilot at the helm, an ambitious roadmap, prestigious references and a determination to strengthen its local roots, this Morbihan-based SME intends to move up a gear in the world of marine equipment.
