De Antonio Yachts partner of the America's Cup

Spanish shipyard De Antonio Yachts signs an agreement with the organizers of the 37th America's Cup, to be held in Barcelona in 2024. Its De Antonio E23 model becomes the official electric boat of the event. The 7.20-meter electric foiling catamaran will serve as the support boat.

Association des Ports de Plaisance de l'Atlantique joins forces with Crédit Mutuel Arkea

APPA - Association des Ports de Plaisance de l'Atlantique - has signed an agreement with the maritime branch of the Crédit Mutuel Arkea group, and its entities Crédit Mutuel Sud-Ouest and Arkea Banque Entreprises et Institutionnels. The partnership is designed to support the 53 member marinas in their financial needs, particularly for the work required for the ecological and environmental transition.

Izysea lève 550 000 Âeuros

Startup Izysea announces the amount of its fundraising, which will close in July 2023. Volvo acquires battery company

The Volvo Group has announced that it has purchased all the assets and taken over the activities of Proterra Inc, a battery manufacturer for electric vehicles, which has filed for bankruptcy. The transaction is worth $210 million.

Record French presence at METS Trade

The French Nautical Industries Federation (FIN), organizer of the national pavilion at METS Trade, the world's largest yachting equipment trade show, reports that France will be the most represented nation in 2023, with 118 exhibitors spread over nearly 2200m2.
