Metstrade 2025 in pictures: an ever denser and more diversified show

With thousands of trade visitors and hundreds of exhibitors from all over the world, the Amsterdam Metstrade remains a special event in the global nautical calendar. We take a look at some of the show's highlights, from technological innovations to national showcases and unusual objects.

A dive into the world of B2B maritime

In Amsterdam's RAI Hall, the Metstrade aisles offer a unique panorama of the international maritime industry. Stand by stand, innovations are unveiled in a studious yet relaxed atmosphere.

The national pavilions are like mini-salons: Norway, Germany, China, New Zealand... each showcasing its own know-how.

Innovation in the spotlight

One of the highlights is the DAME Awards hall, with its carefully displayed contenders: thrusters, deck equipment, technical clothing and on-board electronics.

Special mention must be made of some spectacular parts, such as this XXL propeller by Piening Propeller, which sums up German engineering in the service of large units.

The presentation of the French industry

On the Guelt stand, the talk is of keels and the Vendée Globe, over a cup of coffee. Other French companies, such as fittings suppliers and composite specialists, are taking advantage of the show to test interest in the international market... while keeping an eye on Paris, where the Paris Nautic Show is soon to be held.

But also a strong increase in the number of Chinese exhibitors

Things are moving afloat too

Last but not least, French manufacturer Blue Nav was on hand to demonstrate its new electric motors in real-life conditions. A great opportunity to find out how these new products are produced.
