Hanse Yachts continues its recapitalization

The Hanse Group has started a capital restructuring following significant losses in the financial year 2021/2022. The investment fund Aurelius, the majority shareholder, had already announced on December 8, 2022 a capital increase of 7.58 Meuros, via 2.65 million new shares. Hanse Group announced on February 1 the possibility for existing shareholders to buy 2 shares for every 9 shares held, at a price of 2.86 euros, corresponding to the price paid by Aurelius.

AGL Marine opens in La Ciotat

AGL Marine opens a new AGL Marine depot in La Ciotat. This 200m2 depot is dedicated to the Superyachts activity for the application yards and yacht supply companies. It is located in the La Ciotat Shipyards area, next to local refit players and will offer all the brands in the portfolio, from Awlgrip to Sika, including International, Hempel, Epifanes, Seajet, Propspeed, Preval or 3M.

30 years of the Association of Marinas of Brittany

The Association des Ports de Plaisance de Bretagne, which federates the regional managers of marinas, celebrated its 30th anniversary on 26 January 2022 in Lorient. The structure, which includes 126 ports and 56,000 moorings, from Granville to Pornic, took the opportunity to sign a partnership with the URCPIE on the Manche-Atlantic Ecogestures campaign and to underline its efforts on the Clean Ports certifications.

Rolls Royce advances on hydrogen engines

The Rolls-Royce Group has announced an important step forward in the direct use of hydrogen for combustion engines. Successful tests on 12-cylinder gas engines have been conducted in Duisburg. The manufacturer has announced that it is working on hydrogen-powered generators.

A successful Boot for Brunswick

The Brunswick Group has released some figures following its participation at Boot Dusseldorf. Mercury revealed that it has become the leader in terms of market share for outboard engines in Europe. At the Boot, the brand claims to have equipped 40% of the market, 15 points ahead of its rivals, according to the manufacturer. The rate reaches 60% in the 150+ horsepower segment. Sea Ray claims to be 8% above its pre-pandemic sales level.
