Appointments, departures, job changes There has been some movement at Monaco Marine, Dream Yacht Charter, Propspeed, Vendée Arctique.

New team at the head of the Monaco Marine shipyard in La Seyne sur Mer

The Monaco Marine yacht refit shipyard in La Seyne sur Mer, in the Toulon harbor, has a new management team. It is articulated around a quartet :

  • Pierre-François Lepoutre: After twelve years of experience in sales for various yacht companies, he has spent the last four years working closely with Tanguy Ducros, the group's director, in a business development role.
  • Hervé Heimburger : Coming from a high-tech project management background, Hervé has been working as Team Project Manager at the Monaco Marine shipyard in La Ciotat for 5 years.
  • Benoit Courcoux: With Monaco Marine La Ciotat for 14 years as Project Manager, Production Manager and Estimator, he previously worked in the merchant marine.
  • Aldric Bullot : Former maritime expert, with 14 years of experience in project management at Monaco Marine La Ciotat.

Louis Chauvin promoted in Dream Yacht Charter's purchasing department

Louis Chauvin, who joined the purchasing department of rental company Dream Yacht Charter in June 2019, has just been promoted to Deputy Director of Purchasing and Logistics. He previously worked for the Dufour shipyard.

Propspeed organizes itself for the European market

The manufacturer of antifouling coatings for propellers Propspeed is structuring itself for a bigger foothold in Europe. The New Zealand company has announced the hiring of Edo Smitz as sales manager for the EMEA (Europe Middle East Africa) region. Based in Almere, the Netherlands, he has worked for 15 years in the marine industry for marine engine manufacturer Yanmar.

Francis Le Goff on the Vendée Arctique

The IMOCA Vendée Arctique race, the last training session before the Route du Rhum 2022, has appointed its race director. It is Francis Le Goff, race director of the Route du Rhum, the Transat Jacques Vabre and many Figaro races.
