Benoit Verley takes over as head of Venture Boat Group

Brunswick Group has announced a change in leadership at the helm of its powerboat building subsidiary Venture Boat Group (VBG). Benoit Verley succeeds Keith Yunger, who left to become president of Sea Ray in October 2021. As president of VBG, he leads the Bayliner, Heyday, Trophy, Quicksilver and Uttern brands.

Benoit Verley, from Belgium, joined the Brunswick Group in 2007 and has worked in various positions in Europe, culminating in his role as European manager of the Benture Boat Group, responsible for sales, marketing and product development. With an engineering background, he worked for the metallurgist Arcelor Mittal before joining the Brunswick Group.

Knowledge of the yachting market

Through this internal promotion, the group is banking on its knowledge of the market to work on the continuation of its strategic developments. "Benoit brings an impressive level of expertise and knowledge of the marine industry, particularly in the development of business strategy and the identification of long-term opportunities for our boat brands, cultivated through his 15 years at Brunswick says Aine Denari, president of Brunswick Boat Group.

"Since its launch, Venture Group has played a major role in expanding access to boating and I am excited to work with this talented leadership team to continue our mission." adds Benoit Verley, the new president of VBG.
