Tanguy de Lamotte joins Candela

Best known for his past as an ocean racing skipper in the Vendée Globe and co-founder of the equipment manufacturer Karver, Tanguy de Lamotte is joining the electric boat industry. The sailor is joining the Swedish shipyard Candela, builder of electric foil boats, to head its American division.

New Sales Director for France at Navico

François Renault joined Navico in May 2021 as a business developer and has just been named head of sales for France in August 2021. He succeeds Gaëlle Linais. Previously, he held sales management positions at Zodiac, Bavaria and Bénéteau.

Patrick Ollier joins SEIMI

SEIMI has a new business manager for the energy sector. He is Patrick Ollier. He was previously a technical salesman for the Vendée-based equipment manufacturer Scheiber, a specialist in electricity. He also worked for the company Energie Mobile.

New General Secretary for the Confédération du Nautisme et de la Plaisance

The Confédération du Nautisme et de la Plaisance, an entity bringing together associations of professionals and users of the nautical sector, has announced the arrival of a new secretary general. Jean-François Thau, who took office in September 2021, has been in charge of communications at Chantier des Ileaux in Noirmoutier since 2016. He is also, through his company SeaCob, a member of the board of MerAngels, a structure of Business Angels dedicated to the nautical and maritime industries.
