She has been active in the sector for 14 years and worked for 10 years as sales manager for the Polish luxury multihull specialist Sunreef Yachts before joining the Israeli company SwellYachting, then the motor catamaran builder Aquila Power Catamaras, where she was in charge of sales for Europe until January 2020. Gilles Wagner, CEO of Privilège, indicates that the new director's mission will include improving the distribution network of the Vendée-based brand worldwide and increasing its market share in the high-end multihull sector.

New CEO at Oceanvolt

The Finnish manufacturer of electric motors for yachts and small workboats is changing direction. Tommi Lassila replaced Markus Mustelin as CEO of Oceanvolt on 9 March 2020. Trained as a naval architect, he spent 29 years with ABB Marine, a company specialising in power and electric propulsion for commercial vessels. There he held project management and sales positions before taking charge of the worldwide network of the marine propulsion division. His predecessor Markus Mustelin, who joined the company in 2017, remains a minority shareholder and member of the Board of Directors. "Our next step is to move to a higher scale of activity," says Tommi Lassila.
