The announcement underlines the intention to relaunch Tornado in-house, combining style, Italian tradition and innovative engineering
Strengthening the portfolio and moving upmarket
With this operation, Novamarine extends its offer beyond its emblematic RH and BS lines, until now specialized in tenders up to 12âeuros15 mètres. The acquisition now enables the company to integrate larger models, open yachts up to 20 mètres, with an ultra-sporty profile and a clear positioning towards luxury and fervent sea-going experience
An ambition for international growth
This acquisition is part of a more global strategy pursued since Novamarine's IPO on the Milan Stock Exchange in August 2024, aimed at raising funds to accelerate expansion, notably by improving production capacity in Sardinia and penetrating new international markets. The agreement with Tornado Yachts strengthens Novamarine's presence in the premium and ultra-performance segments, particularly in the North American and European markets.
A controlled industrial repositioning
Founded in 1983 and restructured in the 2010s, Novamarine has distinguished itself through the innovative use of foam-filled tubes, offering strength and performance. The acquisition of Tornado is a natural step in this direction: integrating recognized expertise in open cruisers to create a complete range, from the ultimate tender to high-flying yachts.
