100th Leopard 53 PC

In early April, Leopard Catamarans celebrated the delivery of its 100th Leopard 53 PC. Launched in 2020, it testifies to the success of the power multihull range built by the South African shipyard Robertson & Caine. Since its first powercat in 2002, Leopard Catamarans has delivered over 700 units in 22 years.

Recycleurs Bretons taken over by Paprec

Les Recycleurs Bretons, active in the dismantling of pleasure boats for APER and larger vessels under the Navaleo brand, has been sold by its founder, Pierre Rolland, to French recycling heavyweight Groupe Paprec, well known in the nautical world for its sponsorship of competitive sailing.

Alliance Marine expands its distribution of Hempel paints

The Alliance Marine group has announced a new partnership with marine paint specialist Hempel. The distributor obtains new distribution zones, extending its Hempel offering in Europe. Already card-carrying in Sweden and the UK through its subsidiaries Navinordic and Marathon Leisure, Hempel paints now join the catalogs of VDM-Reya, HDS and Sogeric in France, as well as Bukh Bremen in Germany.

Opening of the AFBE 2024 Trophies

The Association Française Pour le Bateau Electrique (AFBE) launched the 2024 edition of its Trophées at the Salon Nautique d'Arcachon, on Friday April 19, 2024. Applications are now open for the 4 prizes, one of which is open to public vote. The awards ceremony will take place at the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle on October 3, 2024.

Normandie Littoral broadens its base to include Hauts de France

Since its creation in 2020, the Normandie Littoral fund has invested over 2 million euros in various sectors of activity: fishing, maritime expertise, maritime transport... but also boating, notably supporting the FinX company. The Hauts de France Region joins the structure, broadening the geographical footprint and contributing 1 million euros.
