Highfield Europe sets up in South-West France to manage distribution of RIBs

A new team has set up offices in Seignosse, in the Landes region of France, to coordinate the distribution of Higfield RIBs throughout Europe. A necessary structuring for an ever-growing European market.

A female crew at the helm of Highfield Europe

Highfield Europe is now made up of a team of 3 women. Mathilde Delfour is back in France after a long stint in China. She is in charge of European distribution for the Highfield brand launched in 2011, which has already sold over 47,000 boats. Béatrice Zancanaro is in charge of sales administration, while Gaia Coretti is in charge of marketing to homogenize the brand's image across Europe.

A facility in southwest France

The new entity, housed in offices near the port of Capbreton, is now responsible for interfacing between European distributors and the Chinese factory in Wehai. The latter is run by the brand's founder and director, Julien Carussi. For this purpose, the company has chosen to locate its offices on the Atlantic coast, in Seignosse, in the Landes region of France.

RIBs recognized the world over.

Highfield is one of the world's leading manufacturers of RIBs. Its boats are renowned for their aluminum hulls and excellent sea keeping. A hull highly appreciated in all types of weather, especially the roughest. Highfield's extensive catalog features 19 models of tenders and RIBs, divided into 2 ranges: 14 for the Sport range and 9 for the Patrol series.

Partnerships for communication

The brand has also partnered world-renowned events such as the Vendée Globe, the Route du Rhum, the Barcolana and is an official supporter of the next Paris Olympic Games in 2024.

Responding to the European market

For Highfield, France is the leading European market, followed by the UK, Croatia and Spain, for the larger players. Each country has its own distribution network, as is the case in France with Pascal Eric Montazel at the head of Highfield France within the RCM Group. Previously, a large part of the European market was managed directly from China by service providers. It was therefore necessary to consolidate our European presence by bringing this function in-house.
