Technique Voile joins Incidence Group

The Incidence Group holding company announces the acquisition of Technique Voile, a sailmaker based in Trinidad and Tobago, which will be effective before the summer of 2022. This agreement positions Incidience Group as the first French sailmaker and one of the first four in the world with its four brands: Incidence Sails, Incidence Technologies, Delta Voiles, and Technique Voile and a consolidated turnover of 21 million euros.

Quorning Boats has built its 1000 e dragonfly unit

Founded in 1967, the Danish shipyard Quorning Boats has just produced its 1000 ème unit. It is a Dragonfly 25 (the 88 e exemplary). To celebrate the event, the shipyard has made some calculations. Thus, since the launch of the shipyard, 3,000 hulls have been produced, or 27 kilometers of hull. Put end to end, the height of the rigging is 13 km above sea level. Finally, the total surface of sail cut for all these boats is 120euros000 m2, which is the equivalent of 18 soccer fields.

Orders up 152% for Sealegs

Sealegs International announced a record annual result with a 152% increase in orders for its amphibious boats, driven by strong demand in New Zealand, Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom and France. The shipyard increased its staff by 23% and its production area by 31% with two new sites in Albany's Parkhead Place, New Zealand. Today, 1,600 boats have been produced and delivered to 60 countries around the world in all sectors: pleasure, commercial, military and salvage.
