Two new OEM agreements for Yamaha in RIBs

Japanese engine manufacturer Yamaha has announced the signing of two original equipment agreements in 2022. The brand's outboard engines will equip the transoms of RIBs from the Italian and French boatyards Lomac Nautica and Zodiac Nautic. The contracts are for a period of three years.

Genevos fuel cells approved

Genevos, a company launched by skipper Phil Sharp to develop hydrogen solutions for the maritime industry, has announced that it has been approved by the classification society Lloyd's Register. It concerns its 15 kW, 30 kW and 40 kW HPM hydrogen power modules.

Greenline Yachts expands its factory

Thermal, hybrid and electric powerboat builder Greenline Yachts announces an investment in its factory. The Slovenian brand will add additional production space at its Begunje site in 2022 to support its growing sales.

The nautical industry rewarded for its employment initiative

Flexiteek acquires a superyacht subsidiary

Synthetic deck covering specialist Flexiteek International has announced the acquisition of F3 Flexiteek Friesland B.V. The Dutch company, renamed Flexiteek Superyacht will support the OEM's growth in the superyacht sector. Work on a 4,500-square-meter factory is expected to begin in March 2022 in Sneek, the Netherlands.
