A new Neel Trimarans plant in Périgny

Rocky-based multihull specialist Neel Trimarans has finalized the acquisition of a new industrial facility near La Rochelle in the summer of 2021. The factory and its grounds, with a total surface area of 12,310 m², is located in Périgny, which is home to other players in the nautical industry such as Dufour, RM Yachts or Sparcraft. This is the company's first location outside of the La Rochelle nautical area, a site where it has already experienced strong growth, building on its entire plot of land, before moving to a new site in La Rochelle buy TechniYachts Pinta and to expand the plant there. This winter, the company had been unsuccessful candidate for the revival on this same set of Naval Force 3 We have always continued to prospect elsewhere," said Mr. Gauthier, "and we have always worked with Chantiers de l'Arsenal. "We have always continued to prospect elsewhere. The project was completed this summer and better meets our needs. It brings our total production area to 20,000 square meters, including 8,400 square meters under cover. Périgny provides us with a good land reserve for the company's growth and the building already has the necessary technical characteristics, particularly in terms of height," explains Barbara Bruneel, head of communications at Neel Trimarans.

Reorganization of boat production and recruitment

The new factory should be operational at the beginning of October. It will allow Neel Trimarans to reorganize the production of its sailing and motor boats, with the range welcoming Leen hybrid trimarans since 2021. "The buildings in Périgny will house the manufacture of composite parts. This will free up space on the La Rochelle nautical platform for the assembly and preparation of the boats," says Barbara Bruneel.
