RIBCraft changes ownership

The British RIBCraft semi-rigid manufacturer changes hands. Founded in the late 1980s, it has made a name for itself in the specialist field of security, military and police services, but also with some yachtsmen. The yard was bought by Tony Adams, already owner of a RIBCraft manufacturing license in the United Arab Emirates. He nevertheless says he will keep the British factory.

Volvo moves forward on hydrogen fuel cells

The Volvo Group has signed a joint venture agreement with truck manufacturer Daimler Truck for the development, production and marketing of fuel cells. Dedicated initially to heavy-duty trucks, the solution should be able to open up new markets such as the marine sector.

BigShip sets up in Guadeloupe

Already present in the Jarry industrial zone in Baie-Mahault since 1997, the BigShip deck hardware company has opened a second store in Guadeloupe. Patricia Blanquer, head of the island's franchised store, opened a second 110 m² store on October 1st, 2020 on the Bas-du-Fort Marina in Pointe-à-Pitre.
