Rand Boats is now distributed in the Mediterranean by Port d'Hiver Yachting

The RAND Boats brand represented in the Mediterranean

The Port d'Hiver Yachting company, based in Bormes les Mimosas, adds a new card to its motorboat offer. Already representative of the brands Pardo, Sacs, Fanale Marine and Bavaria, it is now the distributor of the Danish Rand Boats, particularly known for their electric and hybrid models. The geographical area covered extends from Grau du Roi to Monaco, as well as on the west coast of Corsica.

North Sails supplier of The Ocean Race 2021-22

North Sails has won the contract for the crewed round the world race The Ocean Race 2021-22, ex Volvo Ocean Race. For the third consecutive edition, it will exclusively supply the sails for the VOR 65 one-design category. The contract does not cover the IMOCA boats, newcomers to the race.

100,000th electric motor for Torqeedo

The Torqeedo brand of electric marine engines celebrated the delivery of its 100,000th propulsion system. The 100 kW inboard engine for the British shipyard Spirit Yachts is a symbolic milestone for the German supplier, founded in 2005, which is a pioneer in electric propulsion for yachting.

Nautex distributes the Ubi Maior rigging system

The Nautex distributor adds the Ubi Maior brand of fittings to its catalogue. Pulleys, friction rings and other furlers from the Italian manufacturer complete the Nautex offer for sailing boats, already present with the Forespar, ATN or Tides Marine brands and its own products such as steering wheels or access gangways.

Suzuki Test Centre

The outboard engine manufacturer Suzuki has announced the opening of a technical test centre in Florida on more than 73,000 m² for an investment of almost 15 M . The American site will complement the Kosai site in Japan, as the United States has become the largest market for the Japanese manufacturer.

Merger of the Baglietto and CCN brands

The Gavio Group, owner of the Baglietto and CCN superyacht shipyards, has announced plans to merge the two brands. All the boats built by the group will be marketed under the Baglietto brand. The operation will be completed as soon as possible after the health crisis which suspended the activity of the 2 Italian brands.
