3.7% growth over nine months
The Beneteau Group reported revenue of 595.8 million euros for the first nine months of 2026 , up 3.7% at current exchange rates and 4.7% at constant exchange rates.
This trend is driven in particular by a strong first half of the year, with sales up 11.3%. The third quarter, however, saw a slowdown: revenue totaled 146.6 million euros, a 14.1% decline compared to the same period in 2025.
This decline is occurring in a market still characterized by caution on the part of distribution networks, particularly with regard to units with large engines.
Sailing and new product launches are driving business growth
Over the first nine months, the sailing business grew by 7.3 percent to 243.2 million euros. Monohull sailboats have shown greater resilience than multihulls, as dealers remain cautious about their inventory levels.
The powerboat segment generated 323.6 million euros, down slightly by 0.9% at current exchange rates. Early signs of a recovery in the dayboat market contrast with increasingly sluggish demand in the motor yacht segment.
The manufacturer is also counting on its refreshed product lineup to boost order intake. At the Cannes Yachting Festival, the group unveiled 18 new models, including the Lagoon 47, the Oceanis 42, the Swift Trawler 43, and the Jeanneau EX 34.
According to the group, orders regained momentum in September. This is an encouraging sign, though it remains to be seen whether this will translate into deliveries.
Europe and North America are driving sales
Europe remains the Beneteau Group's largest market, with revenue of 362.2 million euros, up 9% over the first nine months.
North America and Central America also saw a 10.5% increase, to 173.7 million euros. However, this figure should be viewed with some caution: it includes approximately 20 million euros in shipments carried over from the fourth quarter of 2025.
Other regions are experiencing less favorable trends, with sales down 37.3%. These regional disparities illustrate that the recovery remains uneven across markets.
Annual Goals Remain Unchanged
For the full 2026 fiscal year, the Beneteau Group confirms that it is targeting revenue of between 860 and 900 million euros, representing an announced increase of 4 to 9 percent, excluding discontinued U.S. operations.
To reach this range, the manufacturer will need to generate between 264 and 304 million euros in revenue in the fourth quarter. The fulfillment of recent orders and the delivery schedule will therefore be critical.
The group also expects a positive recurring operating profit, excluding discontinued U.S. operations, whose losses are expected to be limited to 9 million euros.
Finally, the renewal of its ?250 million syndicated credit line for a five-year term provides additional financial visibility.
The first nine months of 2026 thus paint a mixed but encouraging picture: growth is on track, new products are driving business activity, and targets remain unchanged. The fourth quarter will provide a more accurate gauge of the strength of this momentum.
