Electric boat lift in Royan

The port of Royan has acquired a new boat lift. The specificity of the new equipment is that it is 100% electric, as was its neighbor La Rochelle in 2022, but with a lower capacity. The new Boatlift, with a capacity of 30 tonnes, replaces a thermal lift that is over 40 years old. The investment is 515,000 euros excluding VAT.

Italian edition for ICOMIA World Marinas Conference

On the occasion of the closing of its 2024 marina conference, ICOMIA has unveiled the venue for the next edition of the meeting place for marina managers. The ICOMIA World Marinas Conference 2025 will be held from October 15 to 7, 2025 in Venice, at the Marina di Certosa.

Kerboat Services sets up in Bouches du Rhône

Kerboat Services, a specialist in boat cleaning, is setting up in Marseille and Bandol. For the agency, located on the Toulon harbor since 2018 under the leadership of Christian Gracia, the aim is to respond more easily to recurring requests from Marseille professionals in l'Estaque or Corbière, and to encompass the ports of La Ciotat and Bandol in the process.

Aquila Catamarans becomes France's 1st distributor

Until now sold directly on the French market, the Sino-American motor catamaran brand Aquila Catamarans has announced the arrival of a distributor in France. The company is Selesti Boat, based in Fréjus, and already a Capelli, Quicksilver, Austin Parker and Maritimo dealer.

Med'In Boats changes name and owner

Med'In Boats, founded by Francis Cogez, was taken over in September 2023 by Cédric Fombonne. The company, which specializes in used boat brokerage in France and the West Indies, and also distributes Italian C-Cat catamarans, changed its name to MiB Yacht Services.
