Schaefer Yachts expands in Europe

The Brazilian powerboat builder Schaefer Yachts, well developed in North and South America, is now tackling the European market. With 30 years of experience and more than 3,500 boats delivered, it has appointed the Monaco-based company Exclusive Yachts to launch its network on the continent. An office has been opened in Salerno, Italy, and a second one is scheduled to open in the summer of 2021 in Golfe Juan.

Contest Yachts partners with Bentley for 59-foot sailboat

Dutch yacht builder Contest Yachts has launched a custom yacht in association with high-end car brand Bentley. The shipyard worked with the automaker's design teams to design the interiors of the Contest 59CS at the request of its owner, Russian musician Garik Sukachev.

Dometic appoints Cabesto as reseller

The Swedish equipment manufacturer Dometic announced the signing of an agreement with the chain of stores and website dedicated to boating and outdoor activities Cabesto. Cabesto will become a regional dealer for Dometic in France. The news comes at a time when Dometic is showing its desire to increase its aftermarket presence among boaters.

Rolls-Royce rebrands in the marine sector

Britain's Rolls-Royce is reorganizing its corporate and brand names. As of June 15, 2021, the subsidiaries dedicated to power and propulsion systems previously under the name MTU, have been rebranded as Rolls-Royce Power System. The MTU brand, and its reputation, is retained only for the naming of products, including its famous marine engines.
