Grand Soleil gets a new distributor in Cannes

New Grand Soleil distributor

The Italian shipyard Del Pardo has a new distributor on the French Riviera. Firros Yachts, based in Cannes, now represents Grand Soleil yachts in the Cannes basin.

Investment at Discovery Shipyard

The British shipyard Discovery Shipyard, taken over in December 2019 by Werner Schaebele, has announced major investments for 2021. The owner will inject £2 million to strengthen the capital and continue the development of models in its Discovery Yachts and Southerly Yachts ranges, including the Bluewater 50 catamaran.

Nimbus opens its capital

The Swedish group Nimbus, the leader of the pleasure boat brands Alukin, Aquador, Bella, Falcon, Flipper, Nimbus and Parragon Yachts, will open its capital. It has announced its intention to enter the markets with the issue of shares for SEK 200 million (approximately '19.8 million).

EBI integrates 2 new members

The European Boating Industry Association (EBI) has announced the inclusion as supporting members of the certification company EMCI Register and the marina association TransEurope Marinas.
