METS Trade Celebrates Nautical Innovation

As every year, the professionals of the world's marine industry met at the METS Trade show. This was the occasion for the jury of the DAME Awards, the most famous nautical innovation competition in the sector, to unveil the winners. Chaired by interior designer Birgit Schnaase, it selected an all-category winner, 7 winners in each category and 23 special mentions. While the equipment selected is representative of the trends on board the boats, the 2019 edition of the DAME Award did not bring out any major innovations. This competition remains first and foremost a showcase for yachting equipment manufacturers.
