1st day #Composites
The Federation of Plastics and Composites organizes the first day #Composites. Supported by the Fédération des Industries Nautiques and the JEC Group, it aims to bring together all the players in the composite industry: suppliers of raw materials, fibres and resins, processors, gold donors and parts manufacturers. In particular, it will enable boating professionals to open up to the reality of other fields of application in order to be inspired by new methods or to consider diversification. This first edition will be held on June 12, 2019.
Round tables and technical presentations
The day will alternate technical presentations with round tables bringing together experts, industrialists and researchers from France and abroad. It will be organised around three main themes concerning composite professionals in France and Europe:
- market and customer sector developments
- advanced material and composite innovations
- environmental prospects, including recycling
Among the topics announced are technological aspects related to intelligent composites and related research, but also regulatory issues such as styrene management, alternatives and occupational or environmental health with natural fibres and composite recycling.
