An ecological and social track record
Birgit Schnaase, president of the jury of the DAME Award 2017, presented the trophies to the winners of the different categories of nautical equipment at the opening of the METS show. The overall winner of the DAME Award 2017 is the company Scanstrut, rewarded for its conversion kit enabling disabled people to take the helm and trim the sails of an RS Venture. In addition to the main winner and its social innovation, several products helping to protect the environment, such as the Seabin marina cleaning system, the CarenEcolo fairing area and Oceanvolt electric motors, were also awarded. 3 French are among the winners.
