Gforce boxes its boats for export!

Load simulation

The G Force Yachts yard optimizes its logistics for the export of its X-treme 26 with the development of container transport solutions.

Exports all over the world

The Dutch yard G Force Yachts has been producing and marketing racing yachts since 2004. With a range composed of a dinghy and three sportboats signed Reichel-Pugh, between 26 and 37 feet, it is mainly aimed at a private clientele. If a distribution network is currently under development, the sale is currently made directly with the final owner. Today, customers are spread all over the globe.

X-treme 26

Logistics to be optimized

The boats are generally sold by the unit. The X-treme 26, are shipped by container, on their trailers or on classic bers. If the solution is attractive for unit sales, the cost becomes excessive when the transaction involves several units. While these sportboats are suitable for fleet sailing, the yard therefore wishes to be able to sell several copies to the same entity.

A commercially attractive solution

For the order of 2 X-treme 26 by the hotel Body Holiday of Saint Lucia in the Caribbean, Jeroen Wats, owner of G Force Yachts imagined to optimize the transport. A double metal cradle has been specially designed to fit the two sportboats in the same 40' High Cube container. The structure will also allow the storage of all equipment (mature, appendages...)

Although the creation of specific transport media is not innovative in itself, G Force Yachts' communication on social networks on the subject shows that it can be an interesting commercial argument to develop to attack the market of hotels and rental companies.
