Based in La Rochelle for over 30 years, Grassi Bateaux has established itself as a regional benchmark in new yacht sales, maintenance, charter and refit. Distributor of the Jeanneau, Lagoon, J Composites and Zodiac brands, the company is now adding a new string to its bow with Grassi Yacht Broker, a division entirely dedicated to the pre-owned market.
This new entity is designed to meet the expectations of a public increasingly focused on the purchase of rapidly available boats, at more accessible prices. "We're seeing a real craze for the second-hand market, but we're also seeing sales becoming more complex as the fleet ages and owners rotate less regularly," emphasizes Thibaut Brandicourt, Sales Manager.
A response to two market trends
Grassi Yacht Broker operates in a rapidly changing environment. For buyers, immediate availability and cost control have become central. On the sellers' side, the number of boats for resale is increasing, as a result of a slowdown in renewal and a customer base that is sometimes turning away from sailing.
