Sparcraft passes the baton

After 10 years at the helm of rigging manufacturer Sparcraft, Joël Guerinet has handed over the reins of the La Rochelle-based company to Sylvain Masselot on June 8, 2023. After turning the company around since its takeover by the Wichard group, he is handing over to a new director, a 46-year-old engineer with "a vision focused on performance culture."

Organizational changes at Jeanneau and Groupe Bénéteau

Paul Blanc, who joined Jeanneau in 2010 and has been Brand Director since 2020, will take on a new role within the Bénéteau Group, effective September 1, 2023. He will be responsible for the development of boat clubs and new activities within the Boating Solutions division.

Samuel Dubois, who has been with Jeanneau for 15 years and is currently Director of Jeanneau Prestige for the Americas, will succeed him as Brand Director.

New General Manager at ICOMIA

The International Council of Marine Industry Associations, or ICOMIA, which brings together the national associations representing the marine industry, has a new leader. Joe Lynch takes up the new position of Managing Director, succeeding Secretary General Tony Rice, effective June 15, 2023. A specialist in the tourism sector, he has previously worked for Le Boat and Sunsail.

From Ferrari to Nautor Swan

The Nautor Swan Group has announced the arrival of Matteo Gandini as Director of Commerce and Business Development. A specialist in high-end vehicles, he previously worked for Ferrari for 8 years.

New management at Port-Haliguen

Bruno Guillon Verne will succeed Dominique Hérisset as Director of the Port-Haliguen marina on July 1, 2023. He joined the Compagnie des ports du Morbihan in 2017 as Deputy Director of Port-Haliguen, and was previously a marine surveyor, president of the Mille Sabords boat show and manager of the Flahault Marine shipyard.
