Fanale Marine and Suzuki Sign OEM Partnership

Suzuki expands its OE partnerships

The Japanese engine manufacturer Suzuki Marine has announced three new partnerships for original equipment on the French market. Suzuki outboard engines will now be found as original equipment on the semi-rigids of the Corsican brand Fanale Marine, as part of a limited series. Hica Boats is the importer in France of the Idea, Kolobri, Gala, Brig, Iron and Dromeas brands. It will now offer the Japanese brand's engines as original equipment. Finally, the two well-known brands in rotomolded polyethylene boat construction, FunYak and Rigiflex, will also offer the Suzuki brand. These three new agreements bring Suzuki's total number of partnerships in France to 21.

ePropulsion inaugurates new premises

Chinese electric motor brand ePropulsion celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2022. For this occasion, the equipment manufacturer moved on December 17, 2022 to new premises. These 10,000 m2 buildings bring together the head office and a production unit to meet the rapidly growing demand, while the brand has launched new models, notably Inboard.

Mandelieu takes over the port of La Rague

On the occasion of the port council of December 12, 2022, the city of Mandelieu-la-Napoule took over the management of the Port de la Rague without any time limit. The State had entrusted the management for a period of 1 year to the city in 2022, through a newly created municipal board. From now on, the mayor indicates that he can invest in the 50 year old port.

The ports of Redon soon to be part of the Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan

Redon Agglomeration has entered the capital of the Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan. The agglomeration, which is in charge of 2 harbours and 160 moorings, intends in the future to hand over the management to the Société Publique Locale, which is already in charge of 17 harbours in the department.
